All About Me

I have been a high-level quadriplegic for over 30 years. Long-term disability changes your world view. My experiences have been interesting, heartbreaking, joyful, and commonplace. Maybe someone will find them interesting.

I am an educator, freelance writer, volunteer, and advocate for people with disabilities.

I believe in proactive healthcare, self-determined living, surrounding myself with solitude, and the color green. Edward Hopper paintings are a delight. So are pug dogs. Technology is a great, abet expensive, liberator. I'm also quite fond of money. I wish I had some.

I'm here and there on the Internet. A current list of my published articles can be accessed by the tabs on the right.
